EVER BEEN STUNG WHILE ASLEEP?

So, at about half 7 this morning I wake up with a pain in the back of my head and I soon find out that a wasp stung me. It also got me in the arm but I barely felt that one.

I thought wasps and bees etc. only stung when they felt threatened. Apparently this one did it for the hell of it.

I found it dead on my window sill soon after.

So, ever been stung while sleeping?

Yeah, I've got stung like that a couple of times (back of the neck once, and on my arm the other). I think bees only sting to defend themselves, but wasp are mean little bastards and will sting for the hell of it. I just destroyed a big wasp nest on our porch here about a week ago. Luckily, I got them before they got me.

Maybe he was threatened by your body oder? I'm just sayin. No, it didn't happen to me until I walked outside a building and one landed under my eye and stung me for wearing red I guess.

but out walking on a windy day one time, I had a wasp land on my face and sting me multiple times on my left cheek and forehead, was really sore for about 12 hours.

I had a scorpion sting me on my hand while I was taking a nap on my couch.

There's no telling how long he was crawling on me before I moved and caused him to react by stinging me.

It wasn't bad though. I put some meat tenderizer on it and by the next day, I couldn't even tell that I had gotten stung.
