COMMENTS:
here's what worked for me. one, be prepared. practice and know your speech by heart. 2, use as many visuals as you can, cuz fact is, if you have something up on a screen, they'll look at that. powerpoint is good. and go first if it's a line up. get it over with then you can relax. good luck. i'm sure you're going to do fine.
Voted : Try speaking in front of a few friends
When you're out and about with them, or just at someone's house, taking in a game. Ask for a few minutes and just exposit on a subject.
I got some good advice on ballot #117062 I am facing the same situation and I'm not good at all with public speaking
Voted : See a speech specialist
See a speech therapist/specialist. They are the pros at this. They taught me how to speak coherently again so imagine what they can do for you.
Voted : Try speaking in front of a few friends
I used to be that way, too. I just outgrew it. Maybe some kind of relaxation therapy would help.
Voted : Get drunk
You may still make a fool out of yourself, but at least you won't care.
