it's horrible in my opinion. there's always a battle between state and the white house, it's inconsistent and even our allies say it's abysmal.
There has definitely been serious failures but a large amount of good has come out of America's foreign policy as well. For instance the Marshall Plan and the Camp David Agreement. I think the major problem with American foreign policy is that it assumes everyone thinks like an American and does not take into account social, political and religious differences.
^ hehe. we don't assume everyone thinks like an american cuz americans are all over the place. new englanders are notoriously liberal. the rest of the east coast is liberal leaning, but are more conservative and are thought of as the "liberal elite." the southerners think like no one you ever met. mid-westeners are very conservative and sort of, well, kind of like a one-track mind. the north westcoasters are younger, more into grunge rock and might be like anarchists. the rest of the west coasters are all into their tans and bodies and are so laid back, it's disturbing. and the south-westeners, well, they don't even speak english

$12 billion per month for a war? Does anyone realize how many people this could feed?
Does anyone realize how many dogfights you could bet on?
