I was just wondering, after hearing the case of a man who raped his mom, certainly it has to do with power, but to become aroused...doesn't it have also to do with sexual pleasure?

There is a new study by the University of NY that says all past notions that rape is for power is wrong, that it is for sexual satisfaction. I don't know if true or not, just passing on that information.

Some people get off on the power trip and that's why they are aroused.

So there is a connection. Most people do not get aroused at the thought of dominating, humiliating and hurting other humans. Unfortunately some do.

I think it is the degredation of the victim that is sexually arousing. I absolutely do not believe rape is first sexual pleasure, unless they mean the pleasure is from doing bad to someone else. It is kind of a tautology.
