I live near colorado river.
this river never reaches the ocean, it's all used up by the cities as drinking water.
if I told you the kind of stuff that gets dumped in there (occasional bodies are not the worst - at least it's organic) it will make your skin crawl. Chemicals, raw sewage, garbage, petrochemicals, and fertilizers/pesticides.
90% of the native fish is gone. if you drink it, you would probably have the same chance :)
