I am in a business negotiation.

Some people think "NO" means "NOT ENOUGH MONEY". When you say, "NO THANK YOU" they always throw more money at you and say, is that enough?

Personally, several thousand dollars for each NO is very tempting. remember, 2 years ago, I was living on less than $5000 a YEAR!

if you were in that situation, would you feel cheap?

I would just look at as negotiating a fair deal, if they offer you more then you must be worth more *shrug*

^eh well, if I am worth more, why would they offer less to start out with?

so if I said yes, and cashed in for 25% of current $ amount, They would think of me as a chump. and just the fact that they thought so less of me would prompt me not do deal with them now.

I know it's "just business", but I would like to think that I would never insult someone with a lower offer, to make myself more $$ at someone else's expense, to the tune of 400%.

makes me wonder. I rather go fly a kite right about now.
