I've only ever seen that happen on here, in the UK everyone says "HE COULDN'T CARE LESS?" Would you be surprised if I said, your country has been bastardi'S'ing our language for centuries?
Voted : Lazy usage
^ No. In fact, I'd agree with you there, britvic. IMO, more proof that *everyone* who claims to be English-speaking should have English lessons for at least fifteen years. I've made the same screw-up many a time, I'll admit.
Voted : I don't know
... and I could care less.
Yo britvic! Would ya be surprised if I said, yo' country has been jacking our negrophorium fo' eva? Don't make me come ovah there bitch...
^ fo' sheezy mah neezy, Why you be dissin' me?
^ I don't know what the fizzuck I'm talking about.
Well you say ARSE and we say ASS. So I could (and would) care less if you couldn't (or wouldn't) care less. Oh just never mind. I need . But It's the mental kind I need.

People sometimes deliberately say things incorrectly so they fit in with the lowest common denominator. It makes them feel like one of the group. It makes me crazy to hear, "I could care less." EVERYONE I work with says it. I have even heard actors say it. It would impress mne if someone at work said "I couldn't care less." I want to be impressed, but I don't think that's going to happen.
