Cue 'Mrs average on the street' (although I think she may have had a family member murdered by someone, who was caught by DNA evidence) "Well, I think it's a good idea to have everyone in the country on a DNA database. People are just afraid of new technology, aren't they? Years ago, everyone was afraid of fingerprint evidence too, but it's just normal now, isn't it?" Excuse me Mrs Average! But WTF! Has fingerprints got to do with every single (innocent) person in the UK being forced onto a DNA database??! Was there ever a huge national fingerprint database? I don't think so! Blahhh, DNA database, not that it would have affected me anyhow, cept maybe for that lingerie shop incident.
