If you were Lara Croft and a skeleton was running towards you, how would you kill it? (In Tomb Raider4 you can dispose of skeletons in the following three ways listed below.)

I'd combine my revolver with my laser sight and blow away the skeleton's head.
I'd use my shotgun to blast it down into a deep pit.
I'd use my grenade launcher to blow the skeleton to pieces.

This way, even if you don't stop the skeleton, you've disabled its ability to pick you up visually.
