It used to be that any person who claimed that certain sectors of society required more sensitivity than others would be called out for being a racist, sexist, etc. If our society ever wants to "embrace diversity" we must first begin by eliminating political correctness.

With political correctness, anyone not within a tiny corridor of a certain standard is related to as if they were "challenged" or defective. Political correctness is a sneaky form of verbal "image cleansing" as in ethnic cleansing. I see political correctness as the tip of an ugly iceberg.
