Canadians: A long time ago Harper was painted by the Liberals as scary alternative to them (quit successful for a while I might add). Now that he's been leading the country for a while what are your thoughts on him?

Voted : He's doing a good job
He's leading the country under minority rule, which is to say he's uder certain political constraints.
What I really like about the guy is he's been surprisingly ballsy about setting up the opposition for the slow witted fools they are.
His plan to lower the GST another notch was perfect political gamesmanship and they went for it (or more accurately against it) hook line and sinker by. Who's gonna vote for a party that wants to raise the GST?
