by Chris Hitchenson? Great book, I would recommend it to anyone; but the chapter on "The Koran is borrowed from Christian and Jewish myths" I especially like. HOwever, there was no single chapter focusing specifically upon women and oppression; it was either that book, or Richard Dawkins book; and that seemed filled with scientific babble.

I don't like Christopher Hitchens, and wouldn't read anything by this humorless, bitter, alcoholic Bush-lover. But I think he's very intelligent. Before I saw his true colors on a couple of talk shows, I used to enjoy some of his articles in Vanity Fair.

neothe, actually, he attacks all three religions as false, and dedicates the majority of the book to Christianity and Judiasm. But he only dedicates one chapter to Islam, and only one to Bhuddism, unfortunataely
