(This is an excerpt) SYDNEY (AFP) - Santas in Australia's largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday. Sydney's Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say "ha ha ha" instead, the Daily Telegraph reported. One disgruntled Santa told the newspaper a recruitment firm warned him not to use "ho ho ho" because it could frighten children and was too close to "ho", a US slang term for prostitute. (From Yahoo news Nov 14, 2007) It makes you wanna holla, throw up both your hands...

Yes, it is nuts.

Why should slang/dialects ('ho', when debasing a woman, is slang, right ?) get preference over correct English ?

By the by, the FOX News show was so funny: what about Hoboken, Idaho, et c.

I doubt very much if most if any woman would had given it a thought if some tight ass didn't bring it to public's attention.

I'm not surprised though, every Christmas season something is banned.

This is just the first of a number of things I expect to see as politically incorrect both on this site as well as in the world at large.

Bashing something about the Christmas season is tradition for many people.

santa is a ho. a ho on the down lo. i've been with santa and it ain't pretty. no one saw mommy kissing santa claus - they saw me and santa knocking boots on the shag carpet of some bourgeois home.
