SAS, what kind of a stupid response is that? You would prefer a loose cannon like North Korea (who has lobbed missiles over Japan) or the ultimate bully China (would have no qualms about nuking Taiwan, a free and peace loving nation China loves to push around on a daily basis) or Russia (who can't keep track of the ones they already have now) or Pakistan (Who is one coup away from being run by an islamo-nut, who would nuke Europe after he struck the US, because after all the FUNDIES HATE YOU TOO.) Israel and the US are not gonna nuke you tomorrow you know. Not everything is our fault, we are just the scapegoats for idiots.
It isnt just nations that can deploy WMDs..
Terrorist groups, even individuals could technically be capable of independantly deploying even the most terrifying of weapons, the atomic bomb.
With the manhatten project we opened pandoras box and the nuclear spectre which was within will haunt us for a very long time if it does not kill us all first.
