Like I said, I haven't even heard of hardly any of these. Is this a really obscure list (from the Rolling Stone magazine btw) or am I totally out of touch with today's music? Here are the less than 10 I like... Usually I know nobody on these stupid lists... 7 "Rehab" - Amy Winehouse 35 "Girlfriend" - Avril Lavigne 96 "Big Girls Don't Cry" - Fergie

2. Haven't heard most, but judging by the artists of the ones I haven't heard, I'm thinking 3-4 tops, 2 for sure.
Voted : Absolutely none of them
Now I feel so ignorant of pop culture these days.
Voted : Unknown!! Because I haven't heard any of them!

1. "1234" - Feist Musical culture is fucking shit nowadays. The problem is Music’s no longer considered among the arts - it's a business. Once Lennon, Hendrix, Dylan, Marley and bands such as the Velvet Underground and The Smiths conveyed idealism into musical expression. Today we get some cunt in skintight white jeans dancing around half-naked singing about something that makes no sense, but it rhymes so it's ok. And the problem is these so called 'artists' are genuinely compared to past greats by musical 'buffs'. How the fuck is Justin Timberlake a musical 'artist'? He's an entertainer - and anyone who claims he has artistic talent should be raped in the bum by a giraffe. -Sorry about that- I am a massive music fan - I just hate the route that it's taking at the moment. Fuck MTV!!!!!
You're a fine one to talk about "stupid lists", lol!

Haven't heard of a lot of them groups/"Artistes" :o) Most of them probably didn't get further out of the country than the American charts. Theres a dance mix of Rihanna's Umbrella which is a pretty funky tune. *does a funky toe tapper*
Voted : Absolutely none of them
Never heard of any of them.

As much as I think modern music is complete shit, I'm surprised that about 20% of these songs are acually pretty good. Bright Eyes, Band of Horses, Bruce Springsteen, John Fogerty, Amy Winehouse, Spoon, White Stripes, Rilo Kiley, Feist, Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, Miranda Lambert, Lucinda Williams, Prince, Plant & Krauss, Fountains of Wayne, KT Tunstall, Wilco, Sharon Jones, The Shins, New Pornographers, Iron and Wine and Modest Mouse all have songs getting airplay on the NPR station that I listen to. ballot #115640 No bubblegum gangsta rap and no commercials. The rest of these "artists" are just clowns and minstrels. Fuck MTV!!!!! "I get money". Indeed you do, Mr. Redstone.
"Boyz" - M.I.A. "Keep the Car Running" - Arcade Fire

Rehab, The Last Fight and Rockstar are the ones I would take. Chelsea Dagger's OK. I'm not sure about Girlfriend. Wow, 2007 FTW.
LCD Soundystem :D I LOVE at least 10 of these but I've never heard most of them.

Never heard any of them, but then I'm still digging Herb Alpert and the Tiajuana Brass (Man, those cats really wail!).
