The Old Conspiracy Nut in me wants to fashion a dozen theories, but the newer, slightly saner me wants to have more of the facts in evidence.

...But when you consider how he came to power and how he obviously don't wish to give up power he is a prime suspect...in a democratic vacuum with so many factions wishing to control that Country, there's a possibility of it being the doings of others but he can be quilty of not providing adequate security for her, and it may prove to be in his favor if it can be established he had no part in this act, but it still boils down to one of his biggest "rivals" being eliminated...

I will have to go with Psycho-Frighead for $1000 Alex...It is so obvious that he was in on the assassination, Bhutto complained on several occasions that Musharraf refused to provide her with the level of security needed and he put her under house arrest twice...
Also, GW Bush continues to support this man and I believe that the U.S. Government should be ashamed of themselves.
I can not believe that this administration had/has no clue about this assassination and, I believe if they did not, they eventually will receive enough information that Musharraf was in on it and probably will play dumb to the American people and the world to prevent from looking like a murderer supporter as they attempted to do with Sadaam...I tell ya, the U.S. Government can surely pick them...
This Administration spent Billions of taxpayers money supporting this murderer and no one is yelling from the highest mountain about it, unbelieveable...
BTW: Did I mention that I believe Musharraf ordered Bhutto murdered?

musharraf stands to gain the most from her death. We should cut off aide to there military and help are poor and people with no health insurance.
^Their military is the only thing holding their country together. Plus it's the only thing standing between Islamic extremists and Pakistani nukes. In other words thats a bad idea. The world's focus needs to be put back to that region of the world (Afghanistan/Pakistan).

We`ll if she were still alive for the elections then musharraf would not be in power. Pakistan is not a country known for subtlety. There are those that say (and I see no reason to doubt it) that musharraf has links to al quaeda. So its incredibly unlikely he wasnt involved.

Of course. How can you expect the guy who's been helping to hide Bin Laden for 6 years not to be crooked? I like how the official story of her death changes from day-to day now. Sure, she died from bumping her head.

what is wrong with this poll. musharraf can't be blamed for this. it is USA who is behind this assisination. they think long term whilr musharraf is just looking to put things in order for the time being
