If the people from whom I bought my house want to stop by and reminisce, I have no problem with that. I know who they are. Anybody else better have a search warrent.
^^ And a spellchecker.
Voted : Depends
If they seemed like nice people. I'd keep the wallet out of sight, though.

Only family and those I know closely get in my door. I don't even let police officers in. (Had a neighborhood issue a few years back that brought them by.)

Hell no. I don't like my family in here and most of the time I'm really busy when friends come over which sucks so do I wanna invite more people whether nice or not? NO!!!! Ok my rant's done lol.
Maybe, if it's the person I bought it from.

No way, unless I know them personally. 'Professional' thieves sometimes use little tricks like that to stake out homes to rob. It allows them so see who's living there and what kind of people they are (young, elderly, disabled, law enforcement, etc..), if there's any weapons there, any viscious dogs there, any alarm systems, and how many expensive items are in view. There's been quite a few cases of temporary employees of contractors to use the opportunity to do the same.

Wow...your dad is right. You never know these days.
^ Now I realize that, they looked like such a nice couple and they did know things that only someone who had been in the house before would know.
