They seem to have the best search engine and maps, but I don't like the way they snatch up other companies like YouTube. They are slowly turning into the Wal-Mart of the Internet.

Then again, anything is better than Yahoo!.

It's pretty good. I use the advanced search feature often and I find it better than similar search engines. Ask.com is the worst.

ABC is right. It is the corporate way, worldwide. Most corporations have figured out it is cheaper to buy competitors than to actually compete with them. Upstarts are often the first gobbled up.
