Comments are interesting as well as votes.
^ actually that's not true, some do make it little above ten.

How would the ballots ever be seen to be voted on if they weren't listed until they had ten votes?
I kind of liked the system the way it was before, with vote choices being added as a vote.

I don't know. I'm not so sure that's a good idea. The way the new system works, votable entries no longer start off with 1 vote, so a really great ballot might be ignored or something. For now, I would vote no.
kind of like forcing people to make others come and vote.... it made the site really popular back in the day.
for now, I am not so sure.

I sort of agree. I don't see a problem with the choices starting off with zero votes (at the time of the ballot's creation). That's only fair since no one's voted on them at the time of a ballot's creation. But what's annoying is when others come along and add a ballot choice and then they're not able to vote on it when they add it. They have to come back again just to vote on it.

what everyone above said. Plus, isn't it more embarrassing to have no votes showing. People might think the ballot really sucked and not even look at it.
If it's not listed, how would it get any votes in the first place?

that might eliminate some of the more serious overlooked ballots that don't get attention initially...but after a period of time, maybe they should be "pulled"...
