What little drawign I need to do, I use the GoogleSketchUp app.

I prefer to draw something in ink, then scan it and manipulate it in Photosop or Illustrator.

Not since 1995. We had Calcomp and Summagraphics 12"x18" models with 16 button pucks.
They cost $500 each and I threw about 30 of them in a dumpster a year later. We ditched them because we upgraded to AutoCAD 13 for Windows.
