private : I BURIED MY FROG TODAY. [+] ballot by LCD ACTIVE Mon Jan 07, 08 - Tue Jan 06, 09 Those who know me, I picked up a bus from south carolina and drove it to arizona recently, I have converted it into a motorhome. In one of the luggage compartment in the bottom, I found this tiny frog, that somehow got into the compartment and died. It must have been there for years, because the compartment was full of dust and it looked like it hasn't been opened in years (the bus is 10 years old) it was sitting right next to the door, and it looked like it wanted to get out, it was poised to jump out and it just died and got dehydrated right there. I felt bad for the little guy, but it traveled with me for the last few months, and brought me luck. this weekend, I gave it a proper burial. I took it down to the colorado river, and gave him a proper burial right next to the river. right next to a boat ramp, I dug a little hole, and placed him in it. As the boats passed, the little waves that created it flooded his grave and he finally got some water he was craving for the last 10 years. My gal friend happen to have a stuffed toy frog, so we took it to the shore and have him be a part of the funeral. I will be carrying it with me on the bus so that the frog spirit can travel with me in the stuffed toy if he chooses. he will be seated on the dashboard in front of me. So what do you think about my ritual? if anybody wants to see the picture of the ceremony, I will post the pix, I thought it might be a little gross, so I refrained from posting it. entirely silly, grow up! we all need a little ritual in life you should have kept him if it brought you luck!
