NO LOYALTY IN POLITICS ?

[+] serious ballot by thesoothsayer
ACTIVE Thu Jan 10, 08 - Fri Jan 09, 09

It's just a casual observation, but let's take a quick look at some of the "current events...Al Gore's running mate, Joe Lieberman (in 2000) chose a Republican (John McCain) to endorse for the upcoming Presidential election...John Kerry, the last Democratic Presidential candidate endorsed Mr. Obama over his vice Presidential running mate (2004) John Edwards, who is currently running... Meanwhile, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, who was urged by many to run on the Republican ticket for the top spot, has come out in favor of Mr. Obama, although he stopped short of endorsing him...then, there was the rumor of John Kerry wishing John McCain would have agreed to be his running mate...whatever happened to party loyalty ? Let's not forget the impassioned lady that expressed a desire to help Mrs. Clinton and perhaps changed a lot of minds before going into the poll and voting for Mr. Barrack...what's going on ???

There's no loyalty in politics until after the election
There's more loyalty to friends or cronies
Politics makes strange bedmates
Everyone wants to be in position for an appointment
Every man (or woman) for him (or her) self
Together we stand...
There *is* no loyalty in politics
che cos' e quello?
