But I did live down the road from one. Reputedly, it was a speakeasy abck during Prohibition, and the owner and his moll were killed inside, and still ahunted the place.

There has been some unrest in my street though...one person died in a car accident just down the road...they even had a 'blessing ceremony' a few months back.

But my friend did once. She could not understand why the sellers wanted to get rid of the house so fast and cheap.
In her "new" house, one evening, she saw the image of an angry old woman in her dresser mirror. Stuff would crash through the ceilings that had not been on the upper floors, like 4 foot long rolls of butcher paper. One time her young son had a schoolmate over. In the morning, the boy asked her why her mother was standing in the room in the middle of the night.

Yes, over 15 years ago when I lived in my grandmothers house. I had a window to break from the inside with no logical explanation. No one was home at the time and no pets in the house either. I was also walking through the hall one time when something passed infront of me. It was like a hazy blur with a breeze to go along with it. I didn't think too much of the incidents until my sister moved in after I moved out. She came home one day to find child-sized footprints on the rug in the living room. One time she lost the keys that she kept in a box near the kitchen table (so she wouldnt lose them) and then found them over a day later in that same box after she noticed that it's position had changed. She's had repeated knocks on the door, but no one there. She got so fed up with it one day and decided she would catch the neighborhood kids (she thought) that were doing it by standing next to the door. She heard the knock and then she opened the door and looked outside not even 2 seconds after the knock finished and there was no one there. The creepiest incident was when she was in her bedroom, wide awake and reading while her husband and his friends worked on the computers in the other room. She happened to look up and saw a man standing there in the open doorway. He turned and as he started to walk off he just faded.
In the house she's living in now, I can't even begin to name the things that have happened. The strangest is when she was in the dining room doing some house work with some sort of small statue literally flew off the top of one of the cabinets in her kitchen. Nothing could have pushed it off, it was like someone from behind pushed it with alot of force, sending it across the room. Something similar happened with a spatula sitting in a frying pan on the back burner. She heard something hit the floor, turned around and saw the spatula sitting on the floor about 5 feet away from the stove.
My parents have had strange things happen at their house too.
