The guy gets the girl...the bad guys get caught...the real bad guys slip over the cliff although a herculean effort is made to save their measly hides...do you like happy endings or "crouching tiger" endings, or endings where the bad guy(s) kills the heroes and victims and gets away scot free ?

I like happy endings
I like the bad guy to win every once in a while
I like sad, tragic endings
I like twisted endings
I like endings that really are beginings
I like it when everybody dies

I have enough drama in my life so when I'm "escaping" I don't particularly want to be "unsettled" by needless sadness and tragedy but I do like surprise endings...

the real world is depressing enough, with sad endings, when I go to a movie , I want to to escape that, even if it is only for a couple hours.
