Attack ads are what you get from the them All, at least in one form or another. See how Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are going at it now. And then when pulls out of the race, or doesn't get the nod. Watch the other stand shoulder to shoulder and say they are united in the same cause. I guess you remember most of the negative shit than the accomplishments. Because when it comes to 'The Record' it can be twisted to say positive or negative things depending on your point of view. And if your opponent can find a visual aid in his negative ad the more successful the ad will be. Examples of these were Howard Deans Rant. Dan Quayle's heart beat ad (even though Bush did win). Michael Dukakis riding in a tank. I do remember when Bloomburg was running for Mayor of NYC, he put out a lot more Positive ads, than negative ones. Until he got the one that put him over the top. It was when Green said that he could have done the same job or even better (job than Rudy Giuliani) when it came to handling the 911 attack. That statement ended any chance that he had to win. As you get older and wiser, you will see that the best candidate doesn't make it to the nomination. Most of the time, it's the one who can raise the most money. And in my opinion, when it comes to Presidential Elections, it's the side that has the lesser BOOB that will win.

Normal but bad.
Voted : No, not normal, stay in kitchen
About as much as I do attack dogs.
Voted : Yes, normal, if you can't stand heat, stay out of kitchen
People always say that they don't like them but the reality of the situation is that they work. They help define the differences although often unfairly. Its politics though. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
I think many times it backfires
^ I also think that President Clinton , who I like by the way, is making a big mistake with some of the things he's been saying, his last statement that "it's no big deal Obama won South Carolina, that Jessie Jackson also won that state" or words to that effect, to me sends a wrong message. This is just my opinion of course, I'm sure a two term president knows best, but I don't understand his strategy
^not necessarily best, Bush is a two term president, but knows more about campaigning than I do, but some of the things he is saying, does turn me off.
^ I also realize I am typing to myself, ballots are rarely revisited after a day has passed.
