Some of those 'stupid, immature, irrelevant comments' are made by adult registered users.
Where is that 'reject' button ?

I wipe a comment for being innappropriate or spam only. Seasoned users submit enough stupid, immature, and irrelevant comments that it would be a double standard to block these comments from guests.
I'm talking about comments that are neither funny nor relevant, complete garbage.
So am I. I would say at least 1/4 of my comments have absolutely nothing to contribute to the ballot they are on. I tend to use a lot of obscure TV and movie references that nobody catches so they just look horribly out of place. 
I refuse to answer on the grounds that it WILL incriminate some people.
But, to wipe over 400 ballots (by one user !) in a single effort ? None were inappropriate, none were spam. It was clearly an immature act of revenge.

skylab, if you call out a certain user on his incorrect 'facts', he will get revenge rather than prove his false allegations. Unlike that particular user, I donot cut and paste private messages, ever.
A sane adult would never wipe 400 ballots and about that many comments to ballots. But this user needs to feel 'big' and now he does.
black_lava... take your delusions elsewhere. Perhaps you should try to read the ballot again. It SPECIFICALLY states GUEST GUEST GUEST GUEST users. You are a registered user. What I do is REJECT the idiotic guest comments. I also reject guest user comments made by registered users who do this for the sole reason of launching personal attacks at others users. I know which people try to do this. Do you know any of them?
Perhaps you should try to get along with other users even those you disagree with instead of spreading rumors about them with others. Also, you might realize that often you harass and attack users that try to defend your right to speak your mind on this site.
