Not rioting, but it would be like Florida in 2000. The same is true if rules are changed to allow delegates from Florida and Michigan. It would be bad news.

People, given the opportunity, will riot over anything.

Big assumption here. You assume Obama will have more delegates prior to the convention. What if Clinton has more delegates even before the super delegates vote? That is just as likely as your implied assumption.

Yes, I assume their won't be enough of a separation in delegate numbers. I would say that's a big assumption.

We have a bunch of these ballots claiming Obama will win the majority of delegates but the super delegates will keep him from the nomination. All of them are biased towards Obama and assume that he will be the one on the losing end. No one seems to care that she might get the most delegate votes and win the super delegates or that she might get the most delegate votes and then be kept from the nomination by super delegates. Why don't you care that might be kept from the nomination unfairly? Or do you only care if it is your candidate? It should be an issue of equal importance to you for both candidates not just Obama.

...."Or do you only care if it is your candidate."

If Clinton turns it around and ends up winning most of the delegates and her dominate positions of super delegates vote as they said they would then there would be no need to riot.
by ClosetIguana on Sat Feb 16, 08 9:57am [+]

Note: The possibility of her super delegates switching to Obama if she wins the majority of delegates wouldn't make much sense (politically speaking).
