THE MOJAVE DESERT PHONE BOOTH

It was just like every other phone booth, except it was out in the middle of the Mojave desert and it had all the glass shot out of it. It was removed 8 years ago, but apparently it still has lots of fans. I had to see its "fansite" to believe it lol. Are any of you fans of this phone booth? If so, could you please explain what's so special about this booth?

I don't get its appeal either.
I'm a fan of the Mojave phone booth, and I will explain its appeal to you.

I had to see the deuceofclubs website to believe it lol. I'm flabbergasted that nearly 8 years after the booth was removed so many people are still mourning it. Isn't it time to move on to the next big discovery? The booth is clearly never coming back, and obsessing over something that no one can do anything about isn't healthy. Life goes on.

Voted : I'm a fan of the Mojave phone booth, and I will explain its appeal to you.
For me, it's the constant reminder of how wide and strange Holy Mother Cosmos is, to have a phone booth out in the middle of nowhere.

Yeah, it was pretty cool. I just don't think it's anything worth mourning for 8 years over. Most people don't mourn family members for that long.

I don't think anybody is "mourning" for 8 years, it's the nature of internet that the entry shows up after 8 years.

I think he did it a long time before that traveling gnome ever showed up...
