Voted : Yes it is possible
I don't know if humans could survive it, though.
If time travel was possible though, wouldn't we have seen time travelers by now?

Kind of. It is unquestionably possible to travel through time at varying rates, but there's no way you could go like... backwards or something.
Also, a person owning even the tiniest fraction of common sense would eventually realize that absolutely NO good could come from going backwards or forwards. And tasty food for though: If I go back to kill Hitler and the war never escalates and my grandparents never meet and I am never born... how did I just kill Hitler?
Theoretically it is possible. It is unlikely we will be able to accomplish it anytime soon. There are a few current ideas on how this might be accomplished. These include of course wormholes, but also lesser known ideas as Tachyon (theoretical, they travel faster than light) Time Travel, and the folding of space/time.

I think it is.

Don't need high speeds to achieve time travel. Manipulation of gravity to produce wormholes can do the same thing, and it's possible right now, albeit on a smaller scale.
jake, to answer your question as to why no time travelers have been seen, I ask you to do this. Go to your favorite mall or shopping center, and tell everyone you see, "I'm a visitor from the 199th Century. Could you tell me where the best tourist spots are?" And be sure that you have someone ready to bail you out of the psych ward.
I don't know, Nate, I have a LOT of regrets, and I would do anything to fix them

Only into the future.
First, if it was, we'd would have already been informed about it. Second, while time travel may be defined in quatum mechanics, on an existential level it can only (I believe) be understood in a formalistic manner.
Voted : No its not possible
It's a great idea but not probable...you no longer exist in the past, and you are not in the future yet... so you can only exist in the present...even if you could it would probably tear the very fabric of the space-time continuum...but we can peer into the future...
Voted : No its not possible
I always thought time travel was not possible because we would have encountered trevelers from other times by now. It can be argued that if someone was capable of time travel, they would have perfected a way of not letting us know they were time travelers, but surely ONE person would have slipped up.
I agree with Nate, I don't think we can go backwards but I think it's possible that we can slow time significantly. If we look back in history with what we've accomplished since 1900, which is only 100 years, it's extraordinary. In the year 2100 I'm sure we'll see some advances in the area of time-travel.
Time "speeds up" considerably when I'm on this site fooling around
