But, as we see, over and over again, it is much easier to spew rhetoric than to positively state facts. Some people always take the easiest way because it does not require them to *shudder* think.

My mom and my two sisters told them that they are NOT voting for Hillary and suggested strongly that I should not vote for Hillary.
This is obviously bothering you as you have posted a comment like this on several ballots including one of mine where it appears you totally missed a joke about John McCain.
There is an undercurrent of sexism at play in why some people don't like Hillary. She's a strong intelligent woman and she doesn't play the expected role that many people think she should. She worked while her child was growing up. She was and has always been active in her husband's political activities. She didn't stay at home and "bake cookies and make tea". This comment which I thought was hilarious was for some reason controversial. Of course, she wanted to be referred to as Hillary Rodham Clinton - for some reason a fatal sin because she dared wanted to use her maiden name. When she became First Lady, she didn't want to play the role of adoring spouse (like Nancy Reagan) or family matron (Barbara Bush). She wanted to have something meaningful to do which she should have - she was very successful in her own right. Of course none of this fits with the stereotype of how a First Lady should act.
Guys will deny it but many are threatened by a strong, decisive and intelligent woman. Some men have trouble with a woman boss especially if it is in a non-traditional field. She can act exactly the same way as a man would in that job but she will be described as a "bitch" or similar.
I have also noticed this campaign, a tinge of sexism in news reporting and especially in news commentary. Reporters and commentators are generally fairly intelligent, so they won't go right out and say something politically incorrect. It is done in code words and more subtly. Hillary will be described in words that make her seem more emotionally variable, "abrasive" (ie, bitchy), aggressive (which won't be used for describing a male candidate), etc. If sexism isn't playing a role then tell me this... why are Hillary's negative ratings so much higher among Republican men than they are among Republican women? There's a gender role and sexism issue at play here.

I don't know why anyone would think one equates to the other. People should always vote their mind and not by race, religion, gender or political party. If you're a Democrat and a Black, female Republican is the BEST choice, then vote for her. If you're a Republican and the best candidate is an Asian male Democrat, then vote for him.

BBC, what are you on about? I specifically did not address the comment to nuckinfutz directly or even to all men. I pointed out the subtle sexism that is present in the campaign. What I said is hardly breaking news or even an original thought. If you actually picked up a newspaper or magazine and READ it, you would see that MUCH has been written about the sexist attitudes that some have. I know its expecting a lot for you to actually be informed and to read.
So, get off your self-righteous and bigoted high horse. There are other people who have opinions in the world. I know its difficult for you to comprehend but more often than not, these people are right and you are wrong.
