[+] serious ballot by UncleMax
ACTIVE Sun Mar 02, 08 - Fri Aug 29, 08

If elected, McCain may be the oldest man to be elected President....and if Obama is elected President, he would be the youngest.
Is the age factor a concern for you...either way on the scale.

Obama's young age is a concern
McCain's old age is a concern
Both of their ages are a concern
Neither of their ages are a concern

COMMENTS:
Voted : Neither of their ages are a concern
Proven record should count. Not 'promises' nor age nor gender. Key word being 'should'.

Voted : Neither of their ages are a concern
not for me

Voted : McCain's old age is a concern
Come on, folks, let's face it.

John Sidney McCain is N-V-T-S NUTS. And I don't want this man to be *anywhere* near nuclear authorization ability when senility sets in...

Obama's "youth" doesn't faze me as much. Kennedy and Teddy Roosevelt were both younger when they took office, and they both did fairly well. The planet's still here.

Voted : Obama's young age is a concern
His lack of experience and his gangly pubescence gives me great concern.

Voted : Neither of their ages are a concern
No. John McCain seems very capable and bright, as does Barack.

Voted : Neither of their ages are a concern
... although you would need to pay more attention to who McCain's veep is, purely as a practical matter.

Voted : Neither of their ages are a concern
Age should not be a factor in my opinion, by hey, what do I know.

Thank you, skylab, but shouldn't the VP choice always and regardless of which party be a factor ?
by Black_Lava on Sun Mar 02, 08 2:24pm [+]

^Yes. But there are statistical probabilities that matter as well.

patch- so "Bomb, Bomb Iran" doesn't faze you?
by Truthseeker013 on Mon Mar 03, 08 1:40pm [+]

It does Truthseeker013, but I would be wrong to assume that one stupid stunt defined him. Yes, it was a stupid thing for him to say, no question about it, but overall, I think he is a bright and fairly level-headed man. Keep in mind that Barack Obama also said he would bomb Pakistan. :) I think ALL of the candidates say stupid things at some point. It's really their actions that matter more. At least in my opinion.
by patch22us on Mon Mar 03, 08 2:19pm [+]

Truthseeker, after seeing some pix of McCain sucking up to the criminal Bush, my view of McCain has been seriously changed. I never realized that a suck-up he is. He's not fit to be President.
