Voted : Country person in the city.
Definitely country guy living in the city. I would love nothing more than to live out in the woods with no neighbors for miles, but instead I'm stuck in the middle of Minneapolis. This situation, however, has the effect of making me appreciate my time outdoors that much more.

Yes, I've been verbally reamed for contributing to "urban sprawl" too. They can suck my country crock.
I'm fringe city but my next move is the 'burbs

I love the city. On the other hand, we're fortunate in that we can leave for the country any time we want, long or short-term. There are times when I can't imagine living any place that is not over-crowded, loud and manic, while other times, I want nothing more than to live in total solitude. It's weird. I guess I'm sort of difficult to please. On weekends, most of my family leaves the city for the "country" and sometimes, I'm literally crawling out of my skin to get back. Other times, I never want to go back. Have you ever lived in a big city Fivenotes?
^Not in a big city but where I would at least have access to everything I needed to make money. Now I'm in a damn swampland:(
Can't you make money in the Swampland? What about Wrestling Gators? :)

I grew up in a rural-ish logging town of about 5,000, then lived in a bigger nearby city and then in Houston for a while. Now I literally live in the middle of the woods and coulnd't be happier. The big city's not bad from time to time and I enjoy it while I'm there, but I just can't live there permanently. Too crowded, fast paced, polluted, smelly, inhospitable, and too much crime for me.
