FAMILY VALUES AND ADULTRY

[+] serious ballot by LCD
ACTIVE Wed Mar 05, 08 - Thu Mar 05, 09

Suppose you are married to a beautiful model.
While working overseas, you land in a prison and mistreated.

Your wife, meanwhile is in a serious auto accident. She doesn't want you to worry about her while you are incarcerated, so she doensn't tell you how much she is hurting while you are suffering, so she keeps silent, and stand by you while you are suffering in prison.

when you get out, you see her scars and her disability. suddenly she's not attractive to you anymore.

Meanwhile, you see a younger, uninjured beauty working under you. While it's against company policy to fraternize with your coworkers/subordinates, and you start an adulterous relationship with her.

But I am a staunch republican. Is it okay?
If it makes any difference, she is really good in bed.

Yes, if she is younger, more attractive and good in bed, it's okay.
No, if you have any sense of morality, you wouldn't do such a thing.
Hell no, what are you insane?

You are a staunch Republican, so therefore you can say one thing and then do another.

This guy shouldn't be married in the first place. He's obviously still in the "want more booty" phase of life, and is very superficial. You would think some time interned would give him the proper perspective on things. I don't think he should be wasting his wife's time if he's not going to appreciate her though.

Jumping between "you" and "your" and "I" confused me. Am I this guy? Or am assuming the role of moral onlooker?
by ThisIsNate on Wed Mar 05, 08 11:10am [+]

oops, sorry, "YOU are a staunch republican".

also, let's say you are a freaking war hero, and everybody wants to get into your pants.

Oh, you must be talking about this guy.
Good call.

Do people who lose both their legs generally wear shorts or tie knots in pant legs?

Someone really **really** dislikes (and fears?) McCain.

Speaking of adultery, finger wagging at camera, et cetera, et cetera.

Not at all! You should cherish your wife. You don't marry just for looks, so if your wife or husband for that matter have issues, you stand by them no matter what.

Trust me, it doesn't take bizarre circumstances to screw around. My wife is very attractive and I still F around. It's the spice of life!

Snarking about is *wrong* regardless of circumstances.

Life would be breaking her heart four times:
1. When her husband did something so bad he wound up in prison (and still she stood by him).
2. When she got in a car accident (and remained silent to protect him from pain).
3. When her looks were taken away.
4. When her husband left her because she wasn't "perfect".

She loved him when he was not
"perfect". That is what marriage is for--staying and loving and nurturing when things get rough.

She needs him now more than ever.

Or maybe not. If she was strong enough to suffer for him and keep loving him while he was in prison, SHE CAN OVERCOME ANYTHING.
