Only if they use schools and hospitals, and if local police make them feel that they can call 911 safely if there's an emergency.
Voted : Yes.
they should be "forced" to work until they have enough money to pay for their tickets back to where they came from...
Voted : Yes.
They also get free, unquestioned care at hospitals and, there are those that want illegal immigrants to be able to collect Social Security. To be fair, if you're going to have services, you need to contribute. Plus, if they pay taxes, then in effect, they are not really illegal anymore and as such, probably have much more security. It has to be a balance. If they can have free and unchallenged healthcare when they go to a clinic or hospital and if people expect them to get other social benefits, then paying taxes is only right.
Voted : Yes.
Yes, they should pay taxes. THEN we throw them out and bring in some more and tax them. Ok, seriously... What types of taxes should they be exempt from? Sales tax? Can you imagine standing behind someone at 7-11 who is buying three 30 packs of Bud Light, a carton of Marlboro Lights and $20.00 worth of unleaded. At the end of the transaction the person hands the clerk an "Illegal Immigrant Tax Exempt Card" at wich point his purchase is tax free. Property Tax? Property tax is typically heavily committed to funding public education. If an illegal immigrant with 7 kids is given a property tax exemption are the 7 kids allowed to attend the public school? How about the Illegal Immigrant with NO children? Should he be given a property tax exemption? If he is, should he be allowed to benefit from anything an educated society produces. Income taxes? Hey, why should they be exempt from funding the war in Iraq (or did we borrow that money?). I see where you're coming from and you heart is in the right place, but it's not a matter of not getting the benefits one paid for through tax dollars. It's a matter of paying a cover charge to see the band. If you want to dance you've got to pay the band. If you get thrown out of the dance hall you are free to try to get back in.
Skylab, if I chose not to use schools or hospitals will I be exempt from taxes? Of course not. Why? Because the taxes I pay that go to education and health care are returned to me by having an educated and healthy (as opposed to the 3rd world)society. I'm not just paying taxes for things I or my family use. I am paying taxes for things that will benefit me (directly and indirectly).
Voted : No.
Of course not. And donot ask them to pay for their medical care, schooling, incarceration and more. Many even receive SSI. What is this 'kicked out without their property/children' ? Can you not see the Big Picture ??
I also do think that the second they pay taxes though, there should be no fear of being arrested or sent home. Once "they" contribute, in my humble opinion, that means "Welcome to the USA!" :)
^^ interesting idea by patch22us to this JOKE ballto. the ignorance that are out there is astonishing. by some statement made here, by just becoming illegal immigrant, you get free healthcare, social security, education, free this and free that. are you folks really that out of touch with reality? if what you say is true, I will gladly turn in my card and become an illegal. heck I may even continue to pay taxes, and next year, employ some of you legals to work in my company. only condition is, when we have our daily drill at lunch where I yell "La Migra!" then you gotta run out of the door first last one gets fired

Yes. They're living here and using the services (roads, schools, libraries, public transportation, etc..) that those taxes pay for. If they don't like paying taxes but not being able to vote or fear getting kicked out, then they can become legal. Many do. It's not impossible.
But "they" do get free healtchare LCD. In all fairness, I can't speak for the whole country, but in New York, if an illegal immigrant walks into a hospital for care, they cannot be denied, their identity must be kept confidential, etc. and this is all even if they can't pay. I hate saying "they" though because it sounds rude. Anyway, as many have pointed out on here, I tend to be in favor of open borders anyway, so the idea of an illegal immigrant is something I can't really relate to on many levels. Oh yeah, and I didn't even see it was a joke ballot. Sorry. :)
LCD: come into the real world. Illegal immigrant children are educated, food is given the family in the form of a Lone Star Card in Texas, there are housing subsidies, they receive WIC, too, all medical care including preventative medicine is provided, translators are provided all of their life as needed. They can receive SSI, which is unavailable to many people born here. All of this for free. Denying all of these facts is tantamount to denying the Holocaust.
Voted : Yes.
But how can they without being caught?

Why should we work and pay taxes while they get a free ride. We pay for everything they need to survive. I guess Americans are just slaves.
