IS IT ME, OR HAS EBAY DECLARED WAR ON SELLERS?

Starting in May, 2008, sellers will no longer be allowed to leave neutral or negative feedback for buyers. This is because eBay believes buyers fear being honest about feedback because they fear retaliatory feedback.

I say, what about the sellers who receive undeserved negative feedback from buyers? It does happen. There are a**holes who will leave neutrals and negatives for no good reason.

This, factored in with eBay's exhorbitent listing fees, where sellers have to pay to list their item, then pay MORE if it sells, has gotten ridiculous. And if your shipping and handling rate is "too high" above the actual postage, (by their standards - a friend of mine got suspended for charging $1.00 handling fees), they can suspend you.

I think if all sellers went on strike and refused to sell anything on eBay for one month, eBay would reconsider their war on sellers.

Dream on...
Sounds good to me...
Buyers should be allowed to leave bad feedback, no matter how untrue or defamatory, without fear of
Only sellers should be allowed to leave feedback.
WTF?

My sister-in-law has been selling antiques and such on eBay for a couple years now. She just closed her eBay store last week because of all the B.S. going on with that site. A lot of people are using craigslist now instead.

True? I'll have to check it out. If so, that's incredibly stupid. Ebay seems to want to hang itself if so.

that's what we have to look forward to, if these monopolies are allowed to exist.

Google, Ebay, Youtube. They will OWN the internet.
