A friend of mine rented this movie recently called "30 Days of Darkness." He said it was "scary," so I watched. It wasn't scary in the slightest. Nothing about it was frightening. He must be more of a Scaredycat than I thought. :)

That had to be Alien. My folks treated me to the movie for my birthday when it first came out way back in (1979?). It was pretty scary for those times.

Alien was just on TV the other night, followed by Alien 2. They were both a little scary. Have you seen AVP?

Voted : The Town That Dreaded Sundown
I was in my early teens when I saw it last and it scared the crap out of me. I woundn't look out a window after dark for the longest time afterward.

For those who haven't seen it, it was based on a true story centered around the Texarkana area of the Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas, featuring a serial killer who wore a mask and broke into homes and into the cars of lovers parked in 'lovers lane' type areas. Needless to say, that movie I believe is where alot of these slasher movies that have become so popular got their ideas from.

They just don't make good scary movies these days.
