people have basic fundamental needs.

to eat,
to clothe,
to shelter,
to reproduce.

They used to say that you should budget 33% (recently probably higher) of your income for mortgage. I think that's proposterous, since mortgage is a very small component of the "shelter" function.

for this ballot please include all your Housing related expenses, such as:

Mortgage, Property Taxes, Gas Bill, Water Bill, Electricity Bill, Gardener, Pool Guy, and whatever else that you pay for your home and its upkeep.

Depends on how much the Guv'mint is kind enough to comp me on drugs. Usually ends up about 85%.
