The whole PROBLEM is cause BY the Hall Of Fame Committee. After Rose was banned, the HOF Committee changed their rules to say that "no one on the ineligible list, cound have their na, named listed on a ballot." It is not the responsiblity of BASEBALL to unban him, it's up the HOF to change their rules to allow him in. He belongs in the HOF BUT SHOULD be banned from baseball. But as a Manager, and gambling into the clubhouse plus bringing known criminals into the clubhouse, and betting on games, is just something baseball CANNOT tolerate. The ban should stay and the PRESSURE should be on the HOF to change the rules to allow him in.
Baseball's cardinal rule is DONT BET ON BASEBALL. Rose broke that rule and now he pays the price.
