Is something like this what you mean? http://www.omniglot.com/countries/index.htm
There's a wikipedia page - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_native_names that lists countries by their native names (and if the country is bilingual or trilingual) it will show all the names... I couldn't find anything for the pronunciation or the phonetic spellings for those names...
I think the words you're looking for are the Phonetic transcription. phonetic spelling is Alpha, Bravo, Charlie etc. Don't know where there's a list as such, but if you make a list of the countries you want, or google 'list of countries' then put them in here http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=afghanistan one by one, you may find what your're looking for. :o)
Check out the CIA World Factbook online.
Voted : Austria - Österreich (Er-stur-rike)
The k is more like a very hard h
Voted : Holland - (NEH - der - lahnd)
The name Holland itself simply means "lower land".
Voted : Switzerland - Germans say Schweiss (shvice)
and the French say Suisse (sweece).
Voted : Liechtenstein - LEESH - ten - stine
the "sh" is the soft German ch, sort of intermediate between sh and h.
Voted : Vatican City - Cittá Vaticano
cheeta va tee CAH no
Voted : Estonia – Eesti (EE - eh – stee)
The first two syllables are slurred together
LCD, all the entries I made above except for Japan are from a cool site called A Political World Gazetteer by John Knouse.
^ Some of them aren't accurate though. For example, "Sverige" (Sweden) is actually pronounced "Sveriye", not SWER-yay or Sver-yay.
