Voted : Obama's preacher is a racist
HUGE red flag for me. I just might end up voting Republican in this election.
He must have been able to see racist overtones in him. He wouldn't have been able to keep them hidden for 20 years.
I am going to predict the outcome of this ballot will be in favor that Obama's preacher is NOT a racist. Yet I will not get half as many commented reasons as number of votes.
I just love this ballot question: First off, Hillary has no clue what it is like to be a Black male in American society and neither do the author of this ballot...And I will venture to say that she has NEVER in her life time been called the "N" word, I believe the Rev Wright was correct on those two accounts. Obama did in deed denouced Farrakhan's comments whether the author of this ballot believes it to be weak or not... As for Obama denial that he had no knowledge of Pastor Wright's radicalism, what you may perceive as being radical Mr. Author of this ballot, may not appear radical to those who have and continue to be treated less than a human being in this country...Whether Obama has first hand knowledge or not is not for me nor anyone else to say, this account is nothing than speculation on the author of this ballot and everyone else's... Obama and his wife was married by this Pastor, their child were baptized by this Pastor, he and his family attends this church as often as possible and he for 20 years, so where is the crime here? The Pastor compared Obama to Jesus Christ, there are many who do, many look to him as their savior from the injustices and crap that this country has spewed upon them, so, again, where is the crime here? "The title of Obama's second book, "The Audacity of Hope," was taken from a sermon by Wright." ^And its a very good and positive book, try reading it, I dare you, it is inspirational and quite motivational... Obama has no control over what comes out of this Pastor's mouth, this Paster has Preached for over 36 years, he is a retired Marine, he has endured a great deal of injustices in American society and I believe if the KKK can spew their garbage, this man has the right to express the racial injustices of America, now, whether the Pastor was correct in preaching such topics from the pulpit or not, who is to say? I will add that talking (or advising his congregation to vote for a particualr candidate) politics from the pulpit may put the church's tax exempt status in jeopardy...However, this Pastor is scheduled to retire on March 31 of this year, which time, those who are making a federal case of this matter will no longer have a life... BTW: Obama has no more control over this Pastor's mouth than Hillary had over Geraldine...

...he's not smart enough to make the cut, IMO. He's just stupid, short-sighted and believes that he knows all the right things to say, when he knows about as much as the pile of dog poop I scooped up in front of my mailbox last week. A favorite quote of mine, which I use as one of my e-mail sigs, comes readily to mind as advice he could've used. "Do not think. If you think, do not speak. If you speak, do not write it down. If you write it down, do not sign your name to it. If you sign your name to it, don't be surprised at what happens to you."
Barbara: Is Obama's Preacher racist. yes. or. no.
truthseeker, so what are saying is that the preacher is not smart enought to know whether he is racist or not? Being a racist is the definiton of stupid, beyond that is not human.
Voted : Obama's preacher is not a racist because...(commented)
^ No he is NOT...He merely spoke the truth regarding his life experiences and those who looks like him, I know it is difficult for many WHITE Americans to hear the truth about the racial injustices in good ole dixie, however, not only the truth can hurt, it can also set you and others free if you you all weren't so afraid of it...So, NO, he is NOT a racist...
RACISM: 1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others. 2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination. 3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races. -http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/racist
RACISM: 1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others. 2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination. 3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races. ^ Again, this definition does not apply to the Pastor's comments, at no time he suggested that his race is superior and at no time did he promote or created a policy fostering hatred or discrimination during his comments... Again, he merely expressed facts that are in evidence regarding Hillary and America, and I believe he is in the position to say these things because of his life experiences in this country, now, until you walk in his shoes and others who look like him, you are certainly out of racial bounds to criticize his comments.
Voted : Obama's preacher is a racist
Lots of people in this country have experienced bigotry and racism. Martin Luther King for example. However, he never said the things that Jeremiah Wright has said. Lets look at a few: The most telling is his praise of his buddy Mr. Farrakhan, "He brings a perspective that is helpful and honest," Wright said. "Minister Farrakhan will be remembered as one of the 20th and 21st century giants of the African-American religious experience." Wright then held Farrakhan up as a pillar of "integrity." "Fact number two: Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run!" Wright referred to the United States as the "U.S. of K.K.K.A." "The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color." Of course there is the "reverends" rewriting of God Bless America. The evidence is clear. And what does Obama say: “I don’t think my church is actually particularly controversial” as he compared Mr Wright’s controversial views to those of “an old uncle”. Yeah, go on Obama apologists... This is the guy that Obama calls his "spiritual mentor", who he credits with the name for his book, and the theme for his address at the 2004 democratic convention. Obama is either: a. Dumber than Chimp Bush b. Naive as hell c. Lying d. Attended church once a year e. Secretly agrees with much of this f. Is guilty of SEVERE bad judgment for not leaving this church. There are only 5 billion other churches in Chicago who could have gone to. g. Any or all of the above.
BBC, Farakhan is a blatant racist and an anti-semite. He's also one of Mr. Wright's friends. Not only his friend but one he has traveled with, celebrated, praised, and bestowed with honors.
Barbara- "U.S. of K.K.K.A" is an intolerant statement. If you can't see that, you need to go back to school. You have given me a reason to believe why he should be able to say his racist comments, but then turn around and say they aren't. "He merely spoke the truth regarding his life experiences and those who looks like him" your ballot choice-Obama's preacher is not a racist because...(commented)
^ I knew when the Farrakhan's name came up, you would be only a second away to misrepresent the case FF... This Pastor can support whomsoever he desires, however, if he was a radical Israel lover such as yourself, you would be so close up his colon, it would take the jaws of life to extract you... You are such a Israel sympathetizer that you musch make yourself sick...You are quick to call others anti semtic or a racist when the subject matter has to do with the the killing machine (Israel), you are in deed a lost and confused soul son... To evoke MLK Jr is not only assinine but also ridiculous...This is not the 60s FF, this is the REAL world, how MLK Jr addressed the matter of this country's racist policies and it's peoples' behaviors has nothing to do with others, just like other races, the Black race is comprised of individual ideas, feelings, reactions, etc, etc, etc... The only evidence is clear is that you have not a clue about this matter just like the author of this ballot...Just because you deem both Wright and Farrakhan racist, doesn't makes it so... You and other who would dare decide who views and comments are acceptable and unacceptable in the Black community are nothing more than dictator wanna bes, until you walk in the shoes of Black America, you are in no racial position to decide who is a racist and/or anti semtic... BTW: You should be as knowledgeable about every subject matter that you believe your are, you then would possess at least a quarter of a brain (especially as it relates to your rabit dog love for Israel, that killing machine of innocent men, women and children)...
barbara I envy your skill on writing many words about nothing. It would come in handy when to-the-point writing doesn't meet the essay page requirements.
^ You are your worse nightmare Jake, therefore, I suggest you go get yourself some life experiences, socialize with as many racially diverse groups and then and only then, you will be able to offer some sound input to this subect matter, you and ff are in deed two of a kind, good evening to you both...
Barbara, the ballot question is "Is Obama's preacher a racist?" Your first comment, condensed, said that Wright's comments were justified because if the KKK can spew their garbage, why can't the preacher? Since I wasn't interested on whether it was justified, and where you stood on the subject of Obama's preacher being a racist, I asked you the question again. This time you said his comments were not racist, basically because it was justifiable. Again, I am not interested on whether his comments are justifiable or not. I have given you the definition of racism, one being "the hatred or intolerence of another race or races" which is proven in his statement "the US of KKK-a". Yet, you claim that comment isn't racist. Your final argument being, blacks are treated unfairly therefore they have the right to make racist remarks (in regard to Obama's preacher). " out of racial bounds to criticize his comments". You said his comments were essentially racist, but it was justifiable, therefore you vote that his comments are not racist. My ballot question was not "Blacks have been treated unfairly, was it justifiable for Obama's preacher to make his remarks?"
Obama's preacher friend has some dumb ideas. I agree with Truth on this count. Whether he's more racist than most, I don't know, although like others he has that problem. He might have reasons for his feelings, given his age and America's past record on such issues. However, to answer the ballot question, the yes or no answer would be yes.
Voted : Obama's preacher is a racist
Of course not.
BBC isn't even smart enough to know the difference between RABID and rabit. Rabit isn't even a word. LOL
The hate that hate produced. Death to Sham-eriKKKa.
well B&W really suprised me on this ballot.
I think I made my first wrong prediction on the outcome of a ballot
