WHAT HAPPENED TO OBAMA'S SPEAKING ABILITY?

[+] serious ballot by LCD
ACTIVE Tue Mar 18, 08 - Wed Mar 18, 09

remember the speeches that he used to give?

reminiscent of Martin Luther King and Kennedy, he became the popular choice for his ability to deliver a great speech.

I noticed that recently, his public comments are delivered in a stammering abrupt manner.

What happened?

he is more nervous
He's just speaking like people do when they are being deceitful
He's tired
He's Lying

Its hard to be confident in your speaking when you are being deceitful, only telling part of truth, speaking about things in lawyer terms (so you don't get caught in a lie), etc. All of this is happening. He claims to not know about the negative things that Rev. Wright (his "spiritual mentor") had said. OK, I don't believe that but he certainly knew about his minister's fondness for and praise of Farrakhan. I'm sorry but I'm not even going to associate with let alone call someone my "spiritual mentor" who is friends with the likes of Farrakhan. Even Bush isn't that stupid. If Bush's pastor was pals with David Duke, you would never hear the end of it.

Voted : He's tired
He's been at this for months now, almost non-stop. It's taking its toll on him.

He did say he heard negative things from Rev. Wright

"Did I know him to be an occasionally fierce critic of American domestic and foreign policy? Of course. Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes. Did I strongly disagree with many of his political views? Absolutely -- just as I'm sure many of you have heard remarks from your pastors, priests or rabbis with which you strongly disagreed."

Voted : He's tired
I think the poor man is just tired. Now, the smear campaign is on and it's detracting from his message. This whole bit about his Minister is absurd. The Minister said those things...NOT Obama!

I haven't noticed a change at all, I suppose he is quite tired of the accusations aimed at him as well, his speech in Philadelphia indicated that to me. I am not surprised by the attacks and I hope he is not as well, after he wins the nomination, he should rest a bit before the Presidential Election...

Maybe he used all his qas up and he's running on empty?
by forgetmenot on Tue Mar 18, 08 5:26pm [+]

It's not a surprise he's uncomfortable since he's been exposed.

What's the deal with his purple lips?
