Seriously though: I've a certain amount of respect for her as a strong leader (especially in light of the "Yo, Blair!" ineffectuality of her successors), but this is far outweighed by my intense dislike of the poisonous bitch & everything she stands for.

With a police force that's utterly hamstrung by pc nonsense (who is a very naughty constable, lol!) and a youth culture that, faced with an almost absence of effective deterrents, has absolutely no respect for the person or property of others, Britain cannot and does not manage to uphold the existing law of the land. And even when they get a decent chief constable like that zero tolerance fella up in Tyneside, the system is so corrupt that he's kicked out of his job - probably before he started uncovering the nefarious activities of society's great & good, imo.
That's not a police state, it's a monumental fuck-up.
