Voted : It does not matter
I have wondered about this (not a lot). I mean that it is more efficient to put your sock and shoe on one foot at a time. Than to go sock - sock, then shoe - shoe.
Voted : Define normal...
I've put those items on in these and a few other permutations. People have told me that I'm either a visionary or someone who escaped from the local looney bin.
I do sock shoe sock shoe. This keeps the one sock in the shoe clean while I put the other sock and shoe on. If I werew to put both socks on first, the second sock might pick up dust from the floor while that foot was resting there while I am putting the first shoe on.

What're are these shoe and sock thangs of which you speak? Seriously though I put them on sock, sock, shoe, shoe, but I don't think it matters much (unless you put them on shoe, shoe, sock, sock - which might indicate a somewhat befuddled mind).
