Voted : I do and will explain why
IMO, it's unsettling proof that Republican policies, particularly financial ones, are running three-card monte games, and this pretty much insures the Democrats victory in November, provided that the Democratic candidates stop trying to tear the party apart. I know. I'm sick, I need help...
Voted : Of course not
I don't feel this way and I'm not a Democrat. I don't think that most Americans feel this way either. People, Democrats in particular, who do feel this way need to realize that there are more important things besides political gains. The recession, failed Iraq war, and inflation may, very little may, give the democrats political gains. But all of these things may lead to the collapse of the United States. So, they need to weigh the two. What is more important, political gain or the state of the country? Democrats who feel this way also need to realize that these things that are happening today to the economy and foreign policy are not all Bush's fault. While he does take a lot responsibility, it wasn't Bush by himself who racked up the national debt. And it wasn't Bush who destroyed the dollar. And Bush didn't make the decision to invade Iraq by himself. What we're seeing today is the result of decades of overspending, borrowing, and now we can't pay the bill. Bush and the Republicans didn't do this by themselves. The upcoming collapse of the stock market, the failure to win in Iraq, and inflation are all to be blamed on both the Democrats and the Republicans.
Voted : Of course not
Am I stupid? Why would a democrat be glad of all these dire things? Unless to show how bad a Republican presidency has been.
Voted : Of course not
first of all, I am not a democrat. second, while I do not rejoice in the fact that the country is going down the toilet, I must admit I feel indifferent about it. remember the serenity prayer: "God grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change; COURAGE to change the things I can; and WISDOM to know the difference." I have accepted the fact that people DO NOT want to change, and I am not going to drag that horse to water, it's a time wasting endeavor.

^^ I guess the idea of the cartoon is that if all those things should happen or are happening, Americans will vote for a Dem. I'm not happy or do I wish those things to happen just to get the person I support elected, I just thought it would make an interesting ballot.
