This, IMO, was one of the bigger baby-raper busts in recent memory. Hats off to law enforcement.

No. The law enforcement pretty much ignored them as long as they could. They lived on their compound and never bothered anyone. Until it was reported that a 16 year old girl there had been sexually assualted by one of the members.
It's an unofficial offshoot of the Mormon church, founded by the guy who's serving time right now in Utah for forcing a 14 year old marry her 19 year old cousin and submit to sex against her will.
They also banish many of the young men for whatever reasons they see fit. This, of course, allows for the men to have more girls to themselves.

fact: if people were being abused then yes they need to be helped- but who is to state the case of what is abuse. In biblical days yes it was common for women of child bearing age to be married off & such - so is it considered fair to force a modern thinking society upon all- even these folk? - But now we must consider our written laws even if they do modifiy the biblical ones - I, like the law, personally do not agree with children being married off - I feel sorry for them in for thier past situaion, but even more sorry for them now. The foster system is a failed system with a abuse , sexual and physical, running rampant throughout. These children will be tossed about from one home to another - all stability be it what they had right or wrong removed - only to be cast out out into the world at 18 - with no family. The officials are talking about the taxing of the CPS systems now - only to not realize the taxing upon social services. These people 'abducted' from their homes will now be a burden to the welfare system. They are un-educated, have no job skills other than that compared to a 3rd world sweat shop and are un-aware of the ways modern society works. For christs sake they milked their own cows & killed thier own chickens only to be taken and force-fed a fast food life! god help them - because i am not sure if we did!
