Depends on what the reason's are plus humans should not just have one mate. Gene's are meant to be spread out a bit more.
Of course to spread out your gene's and get a better mix you don't have to cheat but some people do.

Voted : Divorce
I'm not married yet, but hope to be within the next year or two. I would have to end it if this happened.

@fivenotes-
Humans are not "meant to spread out their genes." Biological urges don't mean it "should" happen, it means there is a tendency to want to do it. Humans are no longer on the same playing field as animals, who need to spread their genes to thrive. Realistically, it's in the best interests of humanity that people try to limit themselves.

Now if you leave out the genes part and say everyone should f*** willy nilly but wear a rubber, then I can accept your argument, I just won't agree with it.

Nate let me ask you this.
Would you rather have a child whose gene's came from you and your mate alone which includes whatever problems they carry or have a child whom's mostly still your's and your mate's but instead of the problem parts they are replaced with gene's which are less hazardous to him/her and also to their future children?

I'm not saying change their looks or behavior or anything other than things like health problems.

If someone wants to go farther than health issues that's up to them.

How in the world did you get onto genetic engineering??? LMAO I have no problem with genetic engineering. I think we're speaking different languages here.

^Sorta lol.
Well people who are let's say very loose with sex can if they are very loose can have children with multiple father's on the genetic level in one child. It's rare but it does happen.

If people planned it better kid's could be born for more than one genetic couple. Those kids either have super good gene's or really bad ones though.

Plus if we want even more mutations we need to mix gene's.

That's what I'm getting at.

Yes I need to learn to explain myself more and better lol.

^ That and take some genetics courses when you go to college O_O
by ThisIsNate on Sat Apr 12, 08 3:25pm [+]

^Actually, fewer mutations result from multiple mixes. The most unwanted mutations (unattractiveness) result when current idealized types mate with other curent idealized types because there is a less diversified gene pool. The genes of very attractive people are often very fragile, depending on what mode of beauty is idealized, and these fragile genes are more succeptable to miasma in the extreme. Some of the least attractive children are often born from the matings of extremely attractive people. And often, the best looking children are born to parents where one or both are average to below average in looks.

it would depend. how many times, how much we loved each other. one time, no. two times, maybe a separation, three times, divorce. but i guess it really does depend on how much i loved my spouse.
