I recently noticed some groups that I belong to had people fighting with each other.

More than a few people said, "it was no fun" anymore, and bid adieu.

I have done so before, and see other people do it too.

do you tolerate conflicts in websites/groups, or do you just get tired and sign off?

It really depends on how far it goes and how nasty it gets. I guess conflict is just a part of life, realy or on-line. If it's really just a minor disagreement, that's one thing, but if it spills over and embroils others, than that's getting to be a bit much.

Another factor is if it's always the same person causing it, I consider that too and wheter it is intentional, etc.

If it pisses me off enough I just bugger off for a few weeks/months.

if its not got better then i stay away longer.

its odd but the internet is one of those weird places. you can feel homesick from a web page.
