But no need of the death penalty since instead why not give them life and use them for work while giving them a small wage?
I am against state sanctioned murder.

my belief doesn't come with exclusion, excuses, personal vendettas,etc.
I do believe in LIFE SENTENCES FOR ALL sex crimes, with no possibility of parole, as long as the victim is alive. they should be working in prison too, breaking big rocks into small rocks for at least 16 hours a day.
I mean, why should the state pay for the keeps of the prisoner at the cost of the taxpayers??

I am against the death penalty. Some people might disagree with my ballot choice, but murder completely ends a life... the victim has no future and is robbed of the opportunity to actually live life and the surviving loved ones are also robbed of having that person in their lives on any level.
Ultimately, both are sick and horrendous crimes that are really indefensible
I'm all for the death penalty for those who rape children.
Why should the state or the taxpayers pay what it cost to support these creeps who don't deserve to live? Giving them 16 hours of work to do a day isn't enough of a punishment. Those little children have been violated in the worst possible way, and then having to live everyday with the memory of something so horrific as being raped when they don't even know what sex is yet. If you've ever known a child this has happened to, you would also vote for the death penalty.

okay so 8 year old brings death penalty.
what about 10 year old?
what about 12 year old?
what about 14 year old?
what about 16 year old?
what about 16 year old with an 18 year boyfriend?
what about consenual sex between 2 kids?
who and where do we draw the line?
Punishment should adhere to one standard that's easy to follow, with no exception that can be altered to fit the color of the kids' skin, age and cuteness of the child involved, and mental age of the perpetrator, location of the crime (there are tens of thousands of sex tourists to thailand and cambodia, walking around in US near your kids, who made it a hobby to rape 5 year old kids in another country, aren't you worried about them?) and the amount of $$ perpetrator has to spend on defense.
mandatory life, no parole.

With child molestation there is usually an increase in the actions of the adult. They tend to go further each time and sometimes it results in rape (but I guess rape has various definitions). With the commonly accepted definition of rape, it's more often a one-time event. Experts are not absolute on which causes more psychological trauma...the molestation, which can take place with increasing severity over years, or rape in it's commonly accepted definition (and the level of violence is a factor as well).
More often than not, it's the family of the victim that tends to want "blood."
With murder though, it's final and in my opinion, much more devestating long-term.

Noone should be executed. Thats no way to make them pay. I think they should have their genitals removed. Neutered.
No sex drive. and forced to carry a plastic bag around at all times to piss in. No repeat offences.
Killing them is too good for them. Killing them is also morally wrong in my extreemly humble opinion.

This is true of many child murders. In most cases the body is found with semen and sexual activity. This suggests to some that all murderers are perverts. But what it really shows is someone "getting rid of the evidence". Most child abductions and rape end in murder when the rapist realises what hes done.
So actually making it a death sentence would most likely increase the number of murders.
Certainly it wont stop perople doing it. However would you kill someone at the risk of losing your genitals........ Possibly not.

the death penalty is barbaric. no modern civilization should be putting people to death. life in prison is supposed to be the ultimate punishment.
the quirkmeister is on the money. repeat offenders get chemical castration, if not life in prison with no parole or even both. you don't profess to being a just society and then murder people and call it an execution. as for raping a child, what sick bastard does that? a sick bastard. do you coddle them and call them the victim? absolutely not. but do you execute them? no. what's next? executing people who keep getting into debt? that went out in the 1500's.
castrate the pricks but you don't execute them.

It's hard to say which is worse, but human error exists either way.

Even if I think rape is worse, my nature is against the death penalty, beacause to wish that you most hate know what's hate. I also know this is probably easy to say until it happens to someone dear to me. I might learn how to hate then. Just maybe.
