suppose you have a following choices.

1. an old beaten down nissan truck with 100k miles, and a respectable, well maintained aircraft (assume for this ballot that you have a pilots license, and you can fly this aircraft without problems)

2. a nice new Porsche Cayenne and Cayman, with all the trimmings, for you and your gal friend.

choose one, both are valued at the same price.

1. plane and a beater car.
2. two Porsches, one for fun, other for groceries.

I'd take the truck and the plane.

Nissan's are actually pretty good trucks. A friend of mine put well over 300,000 miles on his before the transmission finally gave out. And with it being older, it would be less expensive to work on. And it would be more useful to me than a Porche. Can't haul too much feed, hay, or building material in a Porche.

The plane would give me an excuse to get a pilot's license.
