COMMENTS: nyc is filled with english tourists taking advantage of the great exchange rate. a friend of adam's was saying that what he saves buying over here pays his airfare back. not bad. but it's been that way for a few years i think.
one banker friend of his was transfered to nyc, bought a great apartment for about $1.2 mil and in the pound it was really only about 600,000 or around that. good deal.
$300,000 will buy you a lot more than a 2 bedroomed house tho. and thats current. ive even considered it myself. but id have to kill most of the neighbours.
